V8's in Townsville

Voommmmm voommmm. Wonderful wonderful weekend. Ness was in her glory; breathing in those fumes, hearing lost due to the constant humm of the engines, glowing red from far to much sun but she had a great weekend. For the result- Holden on Saturday Ford on Sunday I know I will get into trouble for not naming the drivers but I don't know them!
We spent two long days at the track, very little alcohol but I do have to say the adult only slushes were very nice. Everybody went home on Sunday happy and a lot poorer.
I would tell anyone go to Townsville V8's. Plenty of food coffee merchandise outlets. Heaps for the kids big and little. Crowds were good overall and most of the racing was good too. And the best thing no waiting for the ladies!!!
