So another day and another dollar, or should I say another dollar spent. Ness has gone to the next stage of the interview process the medical part. I think she will start Friday, but she doesn't think till next week. We went for a drive to Charters Towers, had a great day. We went to the tourist information and got the self drive CD, it was great a bit of history and a tour of the town. Of course we did the usual tourist things coffee at Maccas.
On the way back to Townsville we went to Ravenswood. We both like Ravenswood. Had a drink at the hotel and read all about the the young girl who's father taught her to charm snakes. She was chosen to lead a street parade and in her basket was a snake, the snake popped his head out to scare her partner is just one of her stories. The sad part was the cemetery gates were chained and so we couldn't go for a wander.
Today we are off to the movies- Avatar in 3D.
