We have had fairly quite week, after V8's last week and Brodie's third birthday party. Now we know what three yrs old want this year; trains trains trains and Chuggington which is a train. Ness got her forklift license, yeah! Painted Ness's brother's bathroom. That only took two day, a couple of hrs each day. Jarret and Vicky put on the second coat and it doesn't look to bad. Painted all the A frame of the caravan, cleaned out a couple of cupboards and today we drove the van to a repairer to get a couple of jobs done.
What else have we been up to- chasing up our certificates; trying to upgrade our qualifications- Ness Cert 1V in Disabilities and Me a diploma in Disability Work. Change our voting address and we have gone looking without trying for a job. One at the Mushroom Farm and the other at the electoral office for polling day. We applied for the polling office jobs just before Gillian announced the election. If we get something so be it.
Saturday was shopping day- Toni brought a new lawn mower and we browsered lots of shops. Saturday evening we went to the Roller Derby. Its like the movie, just not as violent and no Drew Barrymore. Its was a great night and you can get involved with the crowd yelling ohhing and aahhing. A big turnout for the night which was great to see and Ness got the T-shirt. Last night we had a BBQ at some friends of Toni's and Pete. Everyone had a good night- especially Ness and Brodie. Though Ness is feeling a bit stiff from chasing Brodie.
So thats about it for this week. Still planning Cooktown, have no idea when we will leave Townsville. So catch you all later. Michelle and Ness
